Kurt's Top 10 Albums of 2009

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. Mine is a-OK so far. Running has been pretty good and I am looking forward to the 2010 season very much. One of the things I love about the end of the year is looking back at some of my top highlights of the past year. I hope to share a few of these things with everyone in the next week. So as a big music fan( and someone who loves to run with my ipod ) hear is my top 10 albums of 2009. Let me know what you have on your list.

5. U2- No line on the Horizon

2. Pearl Jam- Backspacer
1. Mason Jennings- Blood of Man

I love six of your top 10 and hate one. Probably explains why we both listen to the Current.

U2 is way to low.. top album of the year.

So Steve which one do you hate so much ?

And yes Joe after looking at it more I would move U2 up but just not sure how far. I will say that they still rock hard live after all these years. The show in Chicago this fall was great !!

I hate the U2 album! But then again, I think they've only had a half dozen great songs (and three came off The Joshua Tree long, long ago).

I am definitely going to have to check out the Mason Jennings album. I have to agree with Wilco, Pearl Jam, Dead Weather, Monsters of Folk and of course U2. The rest I haven't heard, but I am sure they are worth a listen.

dude--- i have some friends in his band and caught his show in chicago in early november. it wasnt too bad although i dont like the god refrences in most of his songs
